Can anyone help me understand the different styles of karate?
Well, I'm new to the martial arts thing and I am interested in picking up Karate. but there are so many styles and I have no idea what the styles (like Shotokan Unsu Kai) What is the difference? Are there better than others? And I found a club that fits my schedule and Unsu Kai Karate? Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you, sorry if this makes no sense …
do not worry about style so much, that much more important is to have a good instructor. Unsu and train hard is the name of a kata (form) is not a style of karate more likely Unsu Kai dojo is the name of the style then. Karate (The way of empty hand (Japan, Okinawa). Karate can be considered as a combination of different styles of kung fu and to jitsu-in. Compound taken strikes and blocks, the main styles include. Shotokan is both hard and soft style. stresses along the depth positions, lunging, maneuvers impact, long-term and mid battle, some joint locks and throws.
