The budget of the County Commission of Greene & Finance Committee said Wednesday that the health claims of county employees to "care about running 11 percent higher than Blue Cross wants to see.
Jim Jordan, the insurance agent who handles Bristol County Health Blue Cross-care policy, showed the committee a spreadsheet that payments of claims reported on average more than $ 317,000 per month from January to October this year.
From January to June, the county "ratio of medical losses" was 99.4 percent premium to the administration of County and pay its employees at Blue Cross health insurance.

After discussion, County Mayor Alan Broyles said he try to develop a time from December to Gaut to make a presentation to department heads, with more meetings, if necessary, feasible for the departments in January.
SELF-INSURANCE FUND
Dan Jackson, McInturff, Milligan & Brooks Vice-President who is also the County Manager insurance risks, report on the fund self-insurance which covers County Buildings, liability and workers compensation injured.
Jackson said his report was essentially unchanged in October, with the fund about $ 200,000 more on a cash basis it was a year earlier.
